HOLY WEEK/EASTER SERVICES

Palm Sunday (24th March)

The Sunday before Easter, on which Christ's entry into Jerusalem is celebrated. 

 

There will be a Palm Sunday service in the hall at 3pm, consisting of hymns, reading and choir items.

Maundy Thursday (28th March)

The day when we remember when Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples before going to the Garden Of Gethsemane where he prayed, was betrayed by Judas and was arrested.

​

Service at 7.30pm in the church hall.

 

​

Good Friday (29th March)

The day when we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary.

​

Walk of Witness: Friday. The walk will start at 12 noon at the junction of Whalebone Lane with Green Lane and Wood Lane. It will then proceed up Whalebone Lane stopping outside Asdas to pray, ending up outside the Baptist Church in the High Road, at 1pm, for a service. Readers and musicians are invited to join in this service and we are looking for volunteers to help with refreshments and stewarding. If you would like to take part, please let the office know.

3pm Service of Reflection in the church hall.

Easter Sunday (31st March) 

The day we celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection.
