THE VIEW FROM MY WINDOW
Inspired by ‘Grayson’s Art Club’ on Channel 4, Monday evening:
‘As Grayson Perry continues his mission to unleash the nation’s creativity, his theme this week is “the view from my window”. Whether that window is at the top of a tower block or a ground-floor kitchen’s, Grayson speaks to members of the public about what they are looking out on...’ (from the Radio Times).
Please send us the view from your window! It could be a pencil drawing, painting, collage, photo, etc. If you're able to please email your contribution to firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll then put it up on this page.
When we get back to church there will a display, which will include those unable to email in their efforts.
This is not only for brilliant artists/photographers; it’s hearing people’s voices that counts.
We're looking forward to seeing what people come up with!
I am an NHS nurse and work in a busy drug treatment service in London.
At the start of the lockdown we made a decision to deliver prescriptions
for our most vulnerable service users. The photo is from when I was
sitting in the car park at work just getting ready to go out to on a run
to deliver prescriptions. There is some basic PPE on the dashboard - a
mask and pair of gloves - all that we had been provided with at the
time, and a sign to let traffic wardens know that I was on official NHS
